Jewellery Council of South Africa

The Jewellery Council of South Africa was created as a jewellery industry representative body in 1973 and has developed from a voluntary organisation to a non-profit company.

South African Diamond and Precious Metal Regulator

The South African Diamond Board was established in 1987 in terms of the Diamond Act, Act 56 of 1986 to regulate control over possession, the purchase, and sale of diamonds, the processing and the export of diamonds.
